My project for Food For Thought assignment was to create a responsive interactive exhibit that educates users about the dangers of poison mushrooms. They would touch one of the fake poisonous mushrooms which caused a red or green light to flash with a warning so the user is aware what dangers to look out for. The final piece would use fake models of the actual poisonous mushrooms, but for the sake of experimentation I used standard cooking mushrooms.

Dreamcraft – The purpose of this project was to design an app that encourages fathers to read to their children. Our responce to this was to design a ‘Create Your Own’ story which allows the user to upload pictures of their faces and create their own characters from a library of assets. They will then insert that character into a pre made story or a story the father could customize himself. These will include interactive two player games that Father and Child could play over multi platform phones and tablets.

Self Negotiated – Finals

The idea with this project was that a user could interact with buttons at the side of the podium that would be connected with conductive ink, this will then play audio out of a speaker that gives situations and solutions to 3D printing in a medical industry, and how it could benefit us.

Self Negotiated – 3D printing

For this project I experimented with 3D printing, re creating human parts in order to put out a message about medical advancements and how 3D printing could potentially improve lives.

This was all done to further add a point to my dissertation ‘The Question of Transhumanism, an explorations of its origins, ethics, identity and innovation.’
